Please read all Terms and Conditions set out below carefully before placing your order with Blossom Bakery Co. By paying a deposit you agree to all Terms and Conditions contained within this document.

Design and Sizing

Blossom Bakery Co. will design a cake based on the brief and direction agreed upon with the client. Blossom Bakery Co. will accept inspiration images however will not recreate a cake in any image provided by the client. Blossom reserves the right to make changes to the design during the creation process if we feel this is needed to achieve a balanced design.

All custom clients are provided with a cake sizing chart before confirming their order. The sizing chart is based on specific serving size measurements, with a small amount of buffer built in to allow for inaccurate cutting. Blossom Bakery Co. is not responsible if the venue/caterer/client cuts the cake to a different serving size resulting in the stated number of servings not being achieved.

Additional Decoration

No decorations or other items may be added to the cake by any person other than those employed by Blossom Bakery Co.
If you wish for your event florist to provide flowers for your cake they must be set aside at the venue for one of our team members to arrange on the cake. No florist is permitted to add flowers onto a cake provided by Blossom Bakery Co. unless they are a staff member from Rising Tide Botanicals.

The only exception to this clause is for cake toppers that are to be supplied by the client.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Dates will not be held until a deposit has been received.
Final payment is due 2 weeks before your event date. If final payment is not received on time Blossom Bakery Co. reserves the right to cancel your order with no refund of deposit paid.

All payments must be paid by direct deposit to the invoice link listed in your contract.

Delivery and Pick Ups

All cakes over 1 tier must be delivered by Blossom Bakery Co. A delivery fee is charged based on distance.
Blossom Bakery Co. is not responsible for any damage to the cake once delivery has been made. The customer is responsible for confirming with the venue that a suitable location for the cake to be displayed will be made available. For outdoor venues the customer must confirm with the venue that a suitable location outside of direct sunlight will be available. For outdoor weddings in summer the customer must advise the venue that the cake may need to be stored inside or refrigerated for a period before being displayed.

Design and Flavor Changes

Any design and/or flavor change requests after the initial deposit has been paid must be submitted in writing at least one month before your event date. Acceptance of any changes is at Blossom’s sole discretion and may require an adjustment to your invoice.

Non-consumption

Even though most of our flowers provided on our cakes are edible, they are strictly provided as decorations on cakes. It is advised that these are not consumed. On occasion we will use wire or toothpicks in our construction which are dangerous if consumed.

Photography and Videography

Please be aware that all photographs of your cake or desserts prior to delivery remain property of Blossom. We reserve the right to use professional photography from your event that showcases our cakes in our marketing materials. This includes our website, social media accounts, promotional marketing etc...

Cancellations and Date Changes

In the event you wish to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery your deposit will be forfeited. Deposits cannot be transferred to a new date. If you wish to change the date of your order this will be considered a cancellation and a new order must be placed for the new date. If your order is cancelled within 7 days of your event date, all outstanding balances will be due and payable.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason all issues must be raised with Blossom Bakery Co. within 48 hours. No refunds will be issued without 80% of the cake being returned to Blossom Bakery Co. for assessment. No refunds will be issued based on design choices made by Blossom Bakery Co. in their discretion.

Disclosure of Information

Blossom Bakery Co. will not disclose any personal information such as your name, address, email, or telephone number to any party outside of the company, unless the customer has authorized us to do so or unless required by law to disclose such information. Furthermore under no circumstances will Blossom Bakery Co. sell or receive payments or services for disclosing customer’s personal information to any partner or external company.
